Meet Christine
Hi, I'm Christine Knox, the creator of Gentle Scar Therapy. I am passionate about treating scars since I had my own life‑changing experience of receiving a scar treatment during one of my massage trainings.
The gentleness of the treatment was unlike anything I had experienced before, and the results were astounding in relieving pain and restriction!
Because you see, most formal training for massage and manual therapists relies on firm techniques that are painful to receive.
So I spent the next few years learning everything I could about scars until I could understand what had happened and reliably replicate the treatment I had experienced – and a whole lot more.
Then I took the best of what I had discovered, and developed a robust program teaching other bodyworkers, massage and manual therapists the amazing technique I call simply Gentle Scar Therapy.
Now I'm on a mission to reach the 40 million people with new scars every year, plus those with older scars that haven't been treated yet.
That means I train as many health professionals as I can with these gentle and powerful techniques!
About Your Trainer
Christine Knox
Massage Skills and Modalities Coach
Christine Knox began her massage career 14 years ago in Scotland, and her Professional Degree in Advanced Clinical and Sports Massage places her within the top therapists in the UK.
She also has a huge range of massage industry experience from delivering massage within an NHS setting to working on rock superstars backstage!
Using her experience and broad education, Christine built her expertise in Fascia and Scars allowing her to travel globally indulging her passion for learning and passing on skills to others.
She loves to inspire therapists to grow by gaining new skills from a different perspective through an interactive, supportive and fun learning environments.

Should I bring my own lunch?
There are local shops and cafes available for lunch, or you can bring your own. We will supply coffee & tea, and breaktime snacks.
Can I get CPE?
All participants will be supplied with a Certificate Of Attendance after completion of the day, which may be used to apply for CPE points with your association.
Is this for Lymphycon attendees only?
No, anyone can join the workshop. It's the day after Lymphycon.
